The ICCI played host to a special gathering of new adherents of the Islamic faith recently. The memorable evening kicked of with an inspirational talk by Jacob Van Der Blom from the Netherlands, followed by informal discussions and rounded off by a tasty dinner, courtesy of the Olive Tree Restaurant.
The informal gathering helped create friendships and strengthen the bonds of sisterhood and brotherhood. In keeping with the relaxed athmosphere, there was also a fun question and answer session with spot prizes. The selection of Nasheeds were also commended.
The Imam of the ICCI, Sheikh Hussein Halawa, delivered the opening address.
