On Wednesday 2nd April 2014, the ICCI Women's Office in cooperation with Happy Muslim Family and Women4Women, hosted the International Women's Breakfast at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland.
The programme on the day welcomed in excess of 70 women from the Muslim and local communities, who brought a vast array of food for all to share and enjoy.
The main event was a presentation and discussion on the issue of child protection by a member of Happy Muslim Family.
Following the talk, the Centre presented token gifts to the members of WILL, an organisation working hard to raise money to supply tents for Syrian refugees on the borders of Syria and Turkey.
The CEO of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, Dr. Nooh Al-Kaddo also very generously supported WILL by purchasing 100 copies of their cookbook that was compiled for the purpose of raising more funds for their worthy cause.
