In honour of the invitation from the Irish Minister of Defence Mr. Simon Coveney, T.D. The Imam of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, Sheikh Hussein Halawa participated in the annual 1916 Easter Rising commemoration ceremony on Wednesday May 4th. The ceremony took place at Arbour Hill, and was marked by the President and Sabina Higgins. President Higgins laid a wreath in remembrance. Click on the following link to read more.
