"Enhancing Study Skills" Lecture

The ICCI is delighted to present "Enhancing Study Skills", an illustrated lecture by the acclaimed Prof. Farhat A. Hussain, a holder of Ten Master Degrees, on Sunday, 7th April 2013 from 1.30pm-5pm. 

This illustrated lecture provides useful insight into the many aspects of effective study ranging from effective note making, reading and concept mapping to intellectual development, exam preparation, creativity and much else, including wider issues pertaining to student development such as civic education.

This lecture will benefit all those engaged in studies at college and university level, in addition to those who are working and may wish to sharpen their academic and intellectual performance that in turn may be useful in their work and lives.

The speaker is well versed in study at various levels (from A level to Doctoral level) from a variety of perspectives, including student, researcher, lecturer, academic writer and was educated at various recognised universities in the UK including London, Exeter, Cambridge, Edinburgh, Manchester, Durham, Warwick, York and Bath) and also received a place at Oxford University.

Prof. Farhat A. Hussain is a

 Specialist historian, archaeologist, sociologist,

historic landscape conservationist, educationalist.

Fellow Royal Numismatic Society

Founder, Cultural Interaction Theory and Approach (CITA)

Holder of various qualifications, including 10 separate Master’s degrees

Author of various books including, Enhancing Study Skills and the (forthcoming) book, Motivation
