June 30th was a sad day for the ICCI team as we said goodbye to our colleague Br Irfan Ikram who has worked at the Islamic Cultural Centre since 2004. He has been a well respected member of staff and became supervisor of the security staff in later years. It will be strange not having him as one of the first faces to see near the security hut, or walking the grounds when entering in through the gates.
Staff members gathered in the events hall to bid Br Irfan farewell, sharing a few words and stories.
We are very fortunate to have had the pleasure of working with him and wish him and his family all the blessings and success in this new chapter of his life as he goes on to explore new opportunities.
