Spring 2017 saw the reopening of the girl's section of the youth club and Sr Abiola has been busy getting programmes in order and outings arranged. The girls celebrated Eid Al-Fitr by going to Jumpzone (ages 7-12) and Go Karting (13 and above). The event was organised to ignite the spirit of Eid in the youth.

Weekly activities on Sunday have been on-going with fun workshops and activities. The girls have enjoyed arts and crafts with a creative young artist from our own community as well as partaking in fun treasure hunts. Activities will vary depending on the age group. The room for the youth club itself is also well stocked with games promoting team work and the larger table tennis/airhocky/foozball tables.

The two age groups have separate halaqas (study circles) whereby they can address issues relating to them and discuss them in a relaxed setting. At the moment, the 7-12 year olds halaqa focuses primarily on manners, it's importance and the many ways they can apply it in their personal lives. This halaqa is facilitated using role plays and encouraging them to think of different scenarios they can apply the newly acquired knowledge to.

The 13 year olds and above are currently completing the 99 names of Allah series. This series is being done to explore their current understanding of who Allah is to them, rectifying the misconceptions and solidifying their relationship with Allah. After completing the name, the girls partake in discussions, exploring current issues and how to tackle them.

Future plans for general activities for both age groups:
