Guidance Counsellor and Leaving Certificate Guidance podcast host Mr Donnchadh O Mahony will be joining us on September 10th to give a talk to leaving certificate students and their parents.
What is in it for you students?
He will discuss the CAO, applying to the UK and Europe, PLCs and apprenticeships. He will show you the different options available to you and hopefully take away some of that stress around the application process and what to do. There will be plenty of time for questions and answers at the end, so get those questions ready beforehand!
What is in it for you parents?
For those who never went through the Irish system of the leaving certificate and for those who did so many years ago, quite a lot of changes to the CAO and application process have taken place, so Donnchadh will explain the system and talk you through it. There are also different options available after the leaving certificate.
This year can be very overwhelming, so this is a good talk for you to attend, as it will give you the tools to support your children through the process.
