Young Muslims Eire hosted the first ever National Muslim Youth Awards ceremony in Ireland on Sunday 17th of September. Their aim was to bring young Muslims from across Ireland together under one roof for a day of excitement and inspiration in which Ireland’s top achieving Muslim youth were recognised and awarded for their outstanding achievements! The awards ceremony consisted of six different categories, which include Qur’an, Academia, Business, Sports, Community work, and Social Media. They also had “Legends of the Community Awards” for long standing members of the Muslim community. This award was presented to the following staff members of the ICCI, some of whom were awarded in Abstentia:

It was a wonderful day, filled with inspirational talks, competitions, networking and a live performance by the nasheed artist Muad.
