In the period between 28th and 30th December 2015, the Islamic Cultrural Centre of Ireland successfully organized a camp for boys aged 10 to 13 years.
The theme was “I am a young Muslim”. Knowing our religion and enjoying with friends was the winning formula here in the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland between 28 and 30/12/2015.
We had a great time, learned new thigs, competed with the groups, enjoyed the activities and made a new friends.
All in all Great camp!
Separately and between 2nd and 4th January 2016 an outdoor boot camp was organized for a boys aged between 14-17 years.
The Camp took place in Glenmalure Hostel Co. Wicklow, a hostel in the heart of the mountain with no electricity no running water and no phone reception or Internet.
The theme of the camp was “Paradise or Jahannam”, Despite the harsh weather conditions, participants greatly benefited from and enjoyed the experience.
The camp started with Zorbing Activities in the Adventure Centre followoed by walking up to the top of the mountain . The scenery and the waterfall were amazing . the tarbiyah and educational aspects of the camp were also of great benefit and touched hearts and opened eyes. BBQ, fire place and a shoe saving mission were what made the experience more enjoyable and memorable.
