ICCI in collaboration with Select Aid were delighted to host a talk by Sheikh Dr Sajid Umar in the main prayer hall after Maghrib prayer on Saturday 2nd of March.
The Sheikh took us through what we should be doing in preparation for Ramadan. He reminded us that Ramadan is a gift, and we have a responsibility not to waste it. Ramadan is not a month that comes upon us by surprise. We know when its coming, and it comes to every single muslim. Everyone has the exact same share and chance of reaping the rewards of it. It is important to plan and be ready.
May Allah reward the Sheikh for his Iman Boosting talk, and all those from the youth and brothers and sisters who attended.
اَللّهُمَّ بَلِّغْنَا رَمَضَان
Allahumma Ballighna Ramadan
Oh Allah, let us reach the month of Ramadaan
