The community welfare department organised a heritage trip for the women to Farmleigh House and Estate on Wednesday 22nd of June. Many thanks to our guide Emer who took us on a very informative tour of the house. We then took a walk around the beautiful grounds and had some refreshments. It is a really beautiful part of the Phoenix Park to visit. The entry to the grounds is free as is the walk around the gardens. There is a little coffee shop beside the lake. We had a great morning, a welcome change to the weekly routine for all. The women are looking forward to the next outing which we hope to plan very soon, InshaAllah.
