Position: Part-time cleaning operative
The Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland currently has a vacancy for Part-time
cleaning operative. We are looking for a reliable and hard-working person
to join our very enthusiastic team.
- Key Tasks: To be responsible for day-to-day cleaning and supplying designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restrooms, etc)
Requirements:
- Documentary proof of eligibility to work in Ireland
- 1 year of experience as a cleaner (preferable)
- Willingness to work on weekends and unsocial hours
- Ability to communicate in English
- Ability to handle and operate cleaning equipment and machinery
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets
- Integrity and ability to work independently
Closing date: 16 November 2023
The person we are looking for must be able to follow standard safety
operating procedures and is able to attend to emergency work at short notice.
