The Youth Indoor Camp proved to be a hugely popular event for the participants, boys aged between 10 and 16. The camp opened at Clonskeagh on Monday 26th December with a soccer tournament and other indoor games, after an introduction from the Head of the Youth Department. Throughout the camp, the boys had the choice to stay overnight and those who did slept in comfortable conditions in the halakah room.

On Tuesday, the boys travelled to the Dublin Mountains for a two-hour walk. Paintball as well as karate competition and a soccer tournament were available on Wednesday. 10-pin bowling and video arcade games at Leisureplex were Thursday's activities along with judo, taekwondo and karate, topped off with a lecture from Sheikh Mohammed Ibrahim. Friday began with breakfast, after which the boys prepared themselves for Al-Jummah prayer. On Saturday, there were cultural and sport competitions followed by swimming. Sunday was the last day of the Indoor Camp which ended with a soccer tournament.

A thank you must be given to all the adults who volunteered, to all the boys who so readily participated and to the Head of the Youth Department for his coordination throughout. Everyone involved ensured that a very enjoyable week was had by the boys, allowing 2011 to finish off so well.
