Today we had the pleasure of taking part in Ireland's biggest coffee morning, sponsored by Bewley's Coffee! The weather was on our side and we put our tables and chairs out on the green. ICCI staff, community members, parents and teachers from the Muslim National School on their tea break came out in support.
We are delighted to announce that today we have raised €1000 for our local Hospice - Our Lady's Hospice in Blackrock.
Many thanks to Spar (Bird Avenue) for their generous donation, Munch, Eo Sukar, our community welfare staff Leila and Chama for making "Msemin" and serving the tea/coffee today.
Thank you also to Human Appeal and the ICCI administration who made a generous donation each to bring us up to the €1000 mark.
Our next coffee morning "Cups Against Breastcancer" will be on October 11th. Save the date!
