The community welfare office of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland, organised a women’s trip to Ireland’s Eye in Howth on Wednesday 11th September. The bus brought the group to the west pier where two boats were waiting to transport the ladies across the sea to the island. The scenery was spectacular with many sea birds in view and the occasional curious seals making an appearance.
On arrival to the island, the ladies climbed up the hill and had an early lunch followed by an exploration of the island. It was an amazing adventurous trip for the women and they are looking forward to the next one.
