On Tuesday 8th November 2022, Summayah Kenna (Head of Community Welfare Dept) was invited by An Garda Siochana National Diversity & Integration Office, to deliver an awareness workshop 'Understanding Islam & Muslims', as part of the GDO training.
The training was held at Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey: Gardai from the Wexford and Wicklow regions were present for the program.
The ICCI continue to support the Garda Siochana in their efforts to create a greater awareness of 'Diverse Ireland' within the force and we appreciate the efforts made by the GDO in this field.
The talk by Summayah was received with great appreciation and thanks were extended to the ICCI for the continued facilitation of the talks over the years.
