CONDEMNATION OF THE HEINOUS ATTACK ON INNOCENT CHILDREN & THEIR CARER IN DUBLIN

**The Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland unequivocally condemns the heinous actions of the lone perpetrator who inflicted horrific injuries on innocent children and their carer in Dublin City on the afternoon of November 23rd 2023. **
The attack on such innocence as they left their school, their place of safety outside of their home, is incomprehensible. We praise the efforts of those people who put themselves at risk to prevent the perpetrator from causing further harm, may their efforts not have incurred harm on them too.
The bravery of the children’s carer who acted on impulse to save the children which resulted in serious harm to herself, is nothing but heroic. Our sincere thoughts and best wishes are with her, the children who are injured, the families of all concerned, and the school staff and pupils.
We have full trust in the judicial system of Ireland and we trust that the process will result in the deserved outcome for the accused perpetrator.
