On February 16, 2025, the Da'awa Section of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland organized a comprehensive Ghusl and Takfeen Training Course, equipping participants with essential knowledge on the Islamic washing and shrouding of the deceased. The session saw a strong turnout, particularly from university students eager to learn this fundamental religious duty.
The course was expertly delivered by Dr. Eid Zaher, covering both the theoretical and practical aspects of preparing a deceased Muslim for burial. Attendees gained a deep understanding of the correct procedures, religious guidelines, and spiritual significance of Ghusl and Takfeen, ensuring the process is carried out with dignity, care, and adherence to Islamic teachings. Through hands-on demonstrations, participants were guided step by step on how to perform this sacred duty.
