Eid Al-Fitr 1447/2026 Announcement - Friday 20th March 2026
The Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland extends its heartfelt congratulations to the Muslim community across Ireland and worldwide on completing the blessed month of Ramadan. We are pleased to announce that Eid Al-Fitr will be celebrated on Friday, 20 March 2026.
May Allah (SWT) accept our fasting, taraweeh prayers, charity, and good deeds performed throughout Ramadan, and fill your homes with joy, peace, and blessings. Eid Mubarak to all!
Zakat-ul-Fitr (Fitrana) Reminder
Please remember to fulfill your Zakat-ul-Fitr obligations before attending the Eid prayer so that it can be distributed to those in need in a timely manner. Contributions can be made online via our website or at the designated collection points in the Centre.
Car Parking & Traffic Notice
To ensure smooth access and safety for everyone attending the Centre on Eid:
- Park Legally & Considerately: Please follow traffic marshals' instructions, park only in legal designated spaces, and respect our residential neighbours.
- Overflow Parking: Overflow parking will be available at the Old Belvedere Rugby Club on Bird Avenue.
- Public Transport: We strongly encourage using public transport (LUAS / Dublin Bus) or walking where possible to minimise traffic congestion around Clonskeagh.
General Attendance & Safety Guidelines
- Prayer Halls: Main prayer halls will be available for men and women across the Centre. Please follow steward instructions.
- Families: Families with children are encouraged to use the designated events/sports hall areas.
- Safety: Please ensure emergency access routes and walkways remain clear at all times.
