The Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland was visited by a lovely group of tourists from Denmark on Wednesday, March 11th. They were given a tour of the mosque and a presentation about Islam by Dr Ali Selim in our seminar room. They were a very engaging group who took the opportunity to ask many questions. The most common ones asked were about the position of women in Islam and also the history behind Sunni and Shia Muslims and the ongoing conflict between them in certain parts of the world.

They finished their day with some of the delicious food from the Olive Tree Restaurant.

We thank them for their visit, and wish them continued good health and a safe journey back home to Denmark.
