ICCI Youth is taking part in Charity Week 2023. This years theme is Nature, and the slogan is "Unity is Natural"
What is Charity Week you may ask? As taken from the Charity week website:
Charity Week is a 100% volunteer led campaign of Islamic Relief.
Raises money for Orphans & Needy Children for one week a year.
We will be having ours during the mid term break from the 30th October - 5th November and would like as much community support, young and old, as possible to engage in our activities and raise funds!
Remember, the Prophet PBUH said: "Charity does not in any way decrease wealth." So let us raise our hands in dua, and put our hands in our pockets to donate, to help those who are in need.
"Muslims are like one body of a person; if the eye is sore, the whole body aches, and if the head aches, the whole body aches."

Whats on?
Art Exhibition
Your children and teens are asked to contribute works of art for an art exhibtion on nature which will will be placed in the glass partition for viewing. These can be handed in to the main receptions for the attention of Amilah.
Photography Competition
This is open to young and old, male and female. Get out into nature and capture the beauty of Allahs creation. Submit your favourite shot to us. It will be €5 per submission, because we are raising money for charity! Photos can be emailed to [email protected] with a screen shot of your donation if paying online, or you can donate the 5 euros in person.
We will have our previous ICCI boys youth club coordinator Ustadh Mostahfiz Gani, who is now also an ethical wildlife photographer and just back from a trip to the Amazon, judging the entries. The winning photo will be printed and framed and donated to the Charity Week Auction to raise funds for our CW campaign. We may also incorporate the other entries into a CW 2023 photo book if we get a good number submitted. Check out our Instagram page for more details.

Cake Sale and Craft Sale
Friday 3rd of November, before and after Jummah prayer inshaAllah.
Story Time with Sheikh Mustafa
This will be on Saturday 4th of November. In keeping with the nature theme, Sheikh Mustafa will take us through some stories of animals from the Qur'an. This is open for young and old, and will take place in the main prayer hall between Duhr and Asr. We will have buckets on the day if anyone would like to give a cash donation of any amount, or you can use the QR codes around the Centre.
