Remarkable place, new friends, great camp!

The theme of the camp was “Allah the Creator”, and every activity was planned around the theme.  We had to work together to achieve our goals.  Being surrounded by amazing scenery added to the meaning of the beauty of the Creator.

The camp took place at the Carlingford Adventure Centre located on the Irish Sea in the County Louth. The Centre did not disappoint; providing the boys with the perfect mix of character building and modern comforts. The adventure began with a 3D Maze in a complete darkness then continued with a night walk in the 10-acre forest, but that was no ordinary hike - as the ICCI group were blindfolded! The task proved challenging, but served as a valuable lesson, as we had to show discipline and cooperation in order to complete the walk.

The boys also enjoyed challenges of steering canoes through the water as well as the excitement, exhilaration, thrill and adrenaline rush of archery, challenge courses, orienteering, volleyball and frisbee Golf. As with all our camps, an Islamic theme ran through all the activities, and the boys commended the balanced programme.

Remarkable place, great food, unforgettable time, new friends, great camp!
