Ramadan Program 2025 / 1446: A Special Experience for Our Youngest Participants!
From March 1st to March 27th, 2025, the Youth Club at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland (ICCI) combined its regular As-Salam Saturday program with a dedicated Ramadan Program for junior boys aged 9–12. Held every Saturday from 12:00 to 3:00 PM, the program was packed with reminders, games, discussions, creative projects, and plenty of quality time together.
The boys explored stories of the first Sahabah—our timeless role models—and reflected on the special place the mosque and Islamic Centre hold in our lives. Sessions also focused on key themes such as relationships, mosque etiquette, fasting, doing good deeds, and building a deeper connection with the Qur’an during this blessed month.
Together, we embarked on a journey of learning and self-improvement—working on our manners to reflect the beautiful character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), gaining new knowledge, praying together, making friends, and of course, having fun!
One of the most exciting parts of the program was our Mosque Project. The boys showcased their creativity by building mosque models using cardboard, paper, Lego, and even one digital model created in Minecraft! Every boy who submitted a mosque project received a special gift in recognition of their effort.
On Laylatul Qadr, each participant was gifted a thoughtful present to honour their dedication—especially their commitment to the long Tarawih prayers.
This year’s Ramadan was truly memorable, filled with learning, laughter, and spiritual growth. And the arrival of Eid brought even more joy and celebration to wrap up this beautiful month.
Though we say goodbye to Ramadan, we hold onto its lessons—and while the month of the Qur’an has passed, the Qur’an remains with us, guiding us every day.
Alhamdulillah for another blessed and inspiring Ramadan at ICCI.
