Quranic Competition

The 23rd Almaktoum Qur'anic Competition is on Saturday, 2nd June for Dublin participants and on 3rd June for all others. Categories are as follows: Half JUZ’, One JUZ’, Two JUZ’, Three JUZ’, Four JUZ’, Five JUZ’, Quarter of the Quran, Ten JUZ', Half of the Quran, The Whole of Quran. For the timetable please check the attachments.

The deadline for submitting the application is 1st June at 17.00.

Research Competition

Submission deadline for Ramadan’s Research Competition is on 10th June 2018. Topics are:

Muslims in Ireland: hopes and challenges;
Muslims' reality in the west; Remissibility and Extremism;
Ijtihad in today's time, the European Council for Fatwa and Research as an example.

The winners will be announced during the graduation ceremony of the Quranic Competition.

Book Review Competition

Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland has pleasure to announce the second Ramadan Book Review Competition 1439/2018. The book is The Muslim as an European Citizen. The competition will run on 3rd Saturday of Ramadan - 2nd June, 15:00-17:00 hours.

The winners will be awarded financial and other prizes. The deadline for registration is 1st June 2018.
