The Youth Club of the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland (ICCI) is excited to organize a Mountain Hike for Boys titled “Discovering Allah’s Beautiful Creation.”
When: Thursday, 20th February 2025 | Time: 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Where: Raheenleagh Wind Farm, Ballinvally, Co. Wicklow
Who: Boys aged 9 – 12 years
Why & How:
Take advantage of the school holidays with structured recreational activities! This hike is part of a larger program aimed at:
- Exploring fascinating places in Ireland
- Learning about the island’s rich history
- Discovering the many treasures of Ireland
Fees: Free of charge for this activity
Registration: Download the Parent Consent form or collect it from the ICCI Reception
Transport Details:
- Departure: ICCI Bus leaves at 10:00 AM
- Return: Arriving back at ICCI around 4:30 PM – 5:00 PM, Insha’Allah
Important Note:
- Fathers are welcome to join, provided they have their own transport (optional).
- Meeting Point for Fathers: 11:30 AM at Croghan Mountain Walk Car Park

Participants Should Bring:
- Personal food (sandwiches, water, snacks, etc.)
- Appropriate clothing and gear (small backpack, rain jacket & trousers, hiking boots—runners are not suitable, small towel, etc.)
- Any required medication
