Ramadan Program 2025 / 1446: A Unique Experience at a Special Time of the Year

From March 1st to March 27th, 2025, the Youth Club at the Islamic Cultural Centre of Ireland (ICCI) ran a meaningful and engaging Ramadan Program for boys aged 13–17. Sessions were held every Wednesday and Thursday (4:00–5:00 PM) and Friday and Saturday (5:00–7:00 PM) throughout the holy month.

The program was filled with reminders, interactive games, and quality time, creating a welcoming and spiritually uplifting environment. Once again, it gave the boys a chance to truly “Experience the Month of the Qur’an.”

Throughout the month, participants explored core Ramadan themes:

- Connecting with the Qur’an through both knowledge and action
- Using the month as a time for personal growth
- Emulating the noble character of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)
- Praying and sharing meals together
- Strengthening friendships and, of course, having fun

The boys also delved into the meanings of Surah Qaf, joined in thought-provoking discussions, and enjoyed a mix of iftars, snack breaks, and lighthearted games. Highlights included the ever-popular pizza iftar and our memorable “bring and share” iftar, which brought warmth and laughter to the evenings.

One of the most cherished moments was the “Pray All Night” Qiyam Challenge, where the boys competed for a spot in the first row of Tarawih—a beautiful symbol of dedication and enthusiasm.

A special congratulations to Muhammad Mukarram Ali, who won the writing competition with a heartfelt reflection on the personal impact of Ramadan.

On Laylatul Qadr, each participant received honorary gifts in appreciation of their efforts, commitment, and continued support for ICCI and its youth programs.

As we bid farewell to Ramadan, we feel a mixture of sadness at the departure of this sacred month, and joy for the memories created and the arrival of Eid. Though the month of the Qur’an has ended, the Qur’an itself remains with us—our guide and companion throughout the year.

Alhamdulillah for a truly special Ramadan experience in 2025.
