The Janaza prayer and Burial of Dr. Taufiq Sattar’s wife and three children will be held in Dublin on Saturday 12th October 2013 at 9am in'sha Allah. The Janaza prayer will be held at Warrenstown House, Blanchardstown Road North, Blanchardstown, Dublin 15 after which the Janaza convoy will set off to Newcastle Cemetery where the deceased family will be buried.
Dr Taufiq who is neurosurgeon and a prominent member of the Muslim community in Ireland has lost his entire family in a house fire last Friday 13th September just after midnight in a fire at their home which is believed to be arson. The incident took the lives of Dr Taufiq’s wife Shehnila Taufiq, who was in her 40s, his 19-year-old daughter and his two sons, aged 17 and 15 in Wood Hill, Leicester. It is believed that the family’s property was targeted by mistake in a revenge attack following a fatal assault in nearby Kent Street.
All our sympathy and prayers are with Dr. Taufiq - a geniune, generous, gentle and kind man. May Allah give him boundless patience and abundant rewards in this life and the Hereafter.
