In the public Referundum on 22nd May, vote "NO" to same sex marriage.

Dear friends,

As you know there is a very important Marriage referendum in Ireland on Friday, 22nd May 2015.

In this referendum, you may vote Yes or No to the proposal to include a new clause about marriage in the Constitution. This new clause provides that two people may marry each other regardless of their sex (i.e. allowing gays and lesbians to marry each other).

It is proposed to add the following to Article 41 of the Constitution:
“Marriage may be contracted in accordance with law by two persons without distinction as to their sex.”

Please remember - your vote matters and you have a duty and responsibility to act! After all, YOU and YOUR CHILDREN live here and it is now being decided by Irish society what is considered ‘natural’ and what isn’t. AS LONG AS YOU LIVE IN IRISH SOCIETY (esp. if you have decided to take Irish Citizenship) YOU ARE FOLLOWING IRISH LAWS - THIS IS YOUR TIME TO HAVE YOUR SAY!

On the authority of Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree (may Allah be pleased with him) who said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) say,
“Whosoever of you sees an evil, let him change it with his hand; and if he is not able to do so, then [let him change it] with his tongue; and if he is not able to do so, then with his heart - and that is the weakest of faith.” [Muslim]

Do you want your children to grow up thinking that
marriage between two men or two women is natural?

Do you want to read them those books?
VOTE NO!

In order to have your voice heard – you have to vote!
In order to vote – you have to be registered! But please note, the deadline to register is expiring this Tuesday May 5th 2015!

All voters’ details can be viewed at www.checktheregister.ie
and if people discover they are not registered, or that they’re registered at the wrong address, it’s easy to correct.

The forms needed can be downloaded through that website and, when completed (they are very easy to complete), must be stamped at a Garda station (bring your Irish passport) and then returned to the relevant local authority office (i.e. Dun Laoghaire Rathdown County Council, Dublin City County Council, etc) by Tuesday May, 5th 2015!.

There is also a voter registration app
available on Facebook guiding people through the registration process.
