SAVE: Intercultural Awareness Programme

The head of Community Welfare dept ICCI partook in an intercultural awareness program arranged by SAVE at Dundrum Parish Hall on the morning of June 13th 2024. Our representative spoke as one of the resource people on the importance of cultural respect and understanding in relation to the victims of domestic violence. The morning proved very rewarding and engaging, with many organisations present for the event. The ICCI will follow up on this event by establishing a training for service providers that delves deeply into greater understanding of Religious and Cultural beliefs and norms.
