Update: Eid Al Fitr 2019

Despite it being a very wet Eid, the Centre was busy with families coming to pray their Eid prayer, many staying on for refreshments after the sermon and games for the children in the afternoon. Many thanks to the youth who volunteered on the day to help with the games and distribution of sweets and gift bags to the neighbours. A gift wrapped box of some delicious backlava was sent to President Michael D. Higgins and An Taoiseach Leo Varadkar. A box was also sent on to Donnybrook Garda Station in appreciation of their work with the community. Copies received of their thank you letters have been attached below.
