The community welfare office organised a women's trip to 'The Meeting of the Waters' in Avoca, Wicklow. The Avoca river starts off as Avonmore and Avonbeg and where they meet is a place of immense beauty. Sr Summayah gave a brief history about the area afterwhich the women enjoyed some lunch. They then went to explore the surrounding area.
Before getting back on the bus to journey home, Sr Summayah held a small quiz to see if the ladies remembered what they had learnt. They were rewarded with small gifts for getting the answer correct!
Many thanks to all who came on the trip to make it a very pleasureable journey, and thank you to our bus driver Tawfik.
